Principal’s Message The Class of 1963 has the same distinction as the Class of 1931, that of graduating from a new high school. You are entering and beginning a new phase in your life. The present “cold war” and the uncertainties that are existing will demand a great deal from you as citizens of your country. New Milford ftigh School has given you a base on which to build your future. Each and every member of the Class of 1963 is a credit to the high school. Your past four years should be an inspiration to you, an inspiration to advance in whatever phase of work you have set your sights upon. May I personally wish each and every one of you my sincere congratulations and best wishes for health, happiness and success for the future. This yearbook is a symbol of accomplishment. Whatever you do in the future, this yearbook, which announces that you have achieved success in high school, is worth keeping and displaying. Look toward the horizon and build your dreams for the days that lie ahead. New Milford High School

'Danielle To the people who made my year at New Milford possible— Entering a new school in a new country is something very exciting, but it makes a person rather nervous. Very soon, though, you made me feel at ease, and I became one of the class. Everything was new and wonderful—the basketball games, the clubs, the courses, the relationship between students and teachers. I was especially grateful when, at the Pep Rally, the basketball team offered me a bouquet of roses. However, my most enjoyable and valuable experiences have been the friends I have made and the people I have met. I wish I could express what a wonderful year this has been. I can only say that you have made my stay at New Milford this year the finest anybody could ever experience. Merci de tout mon coeur, ( O C ji 10
