ADMINISTRATION PRINCIPAL’S MESSAGE To the Class of 1962, may I extend my sincere congratulations on the many accomplishments that you have made during the past four years while attending New Milford High School. This yearbook is a symbol of accomplishment. Whatever your particular line of work, the yearbook, which announces that you have achieved success, is well worth keeping and displaying. May I extend to each and every member of the Class of 1962 my congratulations and my wish for all, complete success in whatever field of endeavor you decide to make your life’s work. Look toward the horizon and build your dreams for the days that lie ahead. Raymond L. Trabold, Principal New Milford High School

DEDICATION The class of 1962 proudly dedicates this, its yearbook, to Mr. Devin as a small token of the admiration and gratitude that we feel this man deserves. To us he represents an outstanding example of the unselfish dedication and conscientious proficiency that has made teaching the great vocation that it is. With this dedication we attempt to express in part, at least, this great appreciation, not only for the class of ’62, but on behalf of the countless number of students who, during his many years at New Milford High School, have benefited from his experience, his expert instruction and sincere advice. Too often his task seems thankless and one devoid of personal glory. But the admiration, respect and prestige won by such men as Mr. Devin can never be obtained in any other endeavor. The hours of personal time devoted to aiding students and constant self-improvement stand as a monument to this member of that unique and noble breed, the true public servant. With this yearbook we strive to preserve the memory of our four years here at New Milford High School. For those of us who lived them, they never shall be forgotten, and neither will the man who has become as much a part of those four years as the diplomas we are about to receive, Mr. Russell Devin. 5
