When we began our senior year in 1958 at New Milford High, and undertook our duties on the yearbook staff, we had no idea of what was really in store for us. We were in a state of complete ignorance of yearbook editing and there would have been confusion but for the patience and calm guidance of our two advisors, Mr. William Bucknam and Miss Jane Dineen. We wanted a yearbook that had more originality and was certainly better than the general run of yearbooks but we decided to stay with tradition in our title, SCHAGHTICOKE.
