Marilyn is our Secrelary, She's very good in her sludies, She does all ol our arl work, And ol course has lols ol buddies. Allie's a boy who has lillle lo say Tho' lhal doesn'l scare lhe girls away, Dark, handsome bul nol six leel lall, He is very alhlelic and plays baseball. Anolher prominenl member, Ol lhis years senior class, ls Guy Tilley, Jr. Who always has a lass. And now we have a prelly girl, BeBe Phillips is her name. A model she desires lo be. We hope lhal she linds lame. From Jersey came Joannie. A blonde wilh eyes ol blue, She is a lavorile wilh all lhe boys, Bul does her school work, loo. Now Herbie is our Romeo, Has hair lhal's curly brown: He lives hall-way up Moll Hill, And is seldom seen in lown. Charles is our lallesl lad. A larmer he wishes lo be. He'll lind himsell a charming lass. And raise a lamily. From lhe highlands comes James, He drives a black Plymoulh car, He likes lo do lhings lor our class, And has helped us gel lhis lar. Raymond is a quiel boy, Who lends a helping hand. He walks so slow-never runs, We wonder il he can. A senior lavorile is Carl Pease. We lhink he'd make a good preacher. He gels along wilh all lhe ladies, Excepl lhe English leacherl Dol comes on Darrow's bus, To be wilh us each day, Her besl pal is Joannie, She was maid in our Junior Play. Pal lips lhe scales al 5' nine. She and Burl gel along line. Nelda and Rila are her pals. No one has more lun lhan lhese gals. Belly Marlin came lrom Hallslead. In lhe spring ol '49. Now she's engaged lo Alvin Seamans She didn'l wasle any lime. Nelda is an alhlelic girl, Her brown hair has nalural curl. She lives on a larm wilh chickens, And wilh lhe lellows raises lhe dickens Roger is a Jackson man, Who joined us as a Freshman green, He keeps his nighl lile a secrel, Wilh a girl is rarely seen. The Academic secfion of our class fook a long frip fo New York Cify on Ocfober 24. We visifed fhe museum of Nafural l-lisfory, l laden Planifarium, R. C. A. Building and many ofher poinfs of inferesf. We were iusf geffing used fo a pleasanf vacafion when The school bell rang calling us back fo N. M. l-l. S. This lime we were proud Juniors, inhabifing fhe Lab. wifh Mrs. Sfevens, advisor. Our officers were Presidenf, John Moss: Vice-Presidenf, Dorofhy Lindsey: Secrefary, Marilyn Darrow: and Carol Munson, Treasurer. A big evenf was when we had fhe pleasure of knowing fhe feachers had fo go fo school for a change on Ocfober 23 and 24. Cause? Teachers' lnsfifufe. We canvassed fhe fown selling sfafionery and fhen had a parfy. We decided we were good salesmen. We chose our class rings and were all anxious fo receive fhem. The day fhey arrived we were all begging, borrowing and nearly resorfed fo picking pockefs fo gel fhe money fo pay for fhem. On March 25 some of our falenfed Juniors presenfed fhe annual Junior Play, Ghosf Wanfedf' direcfed by Miss Veras and Mrs. Flannery. lf was fhe besf ever, we fhoughf. The play was hardly puf away before we sfarfed plans for fhe Junior Prom. We all wenf up fo fhe heavens fo hang sfars in fhe audiforium. Because of fhe slars we called our prom fhe Sfardusf Ball. BeBe Phillips, one of our own classmafes, was chosen queen. Affer fhe prom came final exams and fhen, much fo our joy, fhe lasf day of school. Of course, our Senior year has been fhe busiesf. We refurned fo school Augusf 29, l949, all sef fo go fo work. We welcomed Mr. Seals as our home room feacher and class advisor. We chose our class officers as follows: Presidenf, John Moss: Vice-Presidenf, Alfie Baikowskig Secrefary, Marilyn Darrow, Treasurer, BeBe Phillips. We sold candy during noon hour and found if would bring us good profif. Our firsf big success of fhe year was our Senior Play, You'll Die Laughing, direcfed by Mr. Llewellyn and Mr. Seals. ln November we held fhe annual l-larvesf Ball. lf, foo, furned fhe cards and gave us fhe repufafion as an-ambifious class. On Ocfober l9fh, fhe class wenf fo Binghamfon fo canvass fhe cify for Yearbook ads. We sponsored Record Dances affer home baskefball games. Soon we will be leaving N. M. l-l. S. and our friends buf we have fhese memories fo look back fo. We all consider if a good, well spenf four years of high school. 19 441.3

Marian has eyes of brown, She lives many miles from iown, Likes all animals, especially horses, And does very well in all her courses. Barbara is lvlarian's closesi chum, When she's around, ihings really hum, Wirh hair of black and eyes of blue, ln Wysox she has a lover irue. Audrey is a quiei girl, ln l-lomemaking she does well, Now 'rhere is somerhing rhar we will fell, We rhink Audrey is preiiy swell. Tracy is a member ol ihe Class of '5O. Vxfirh Mr. Seals he picks many bones. l-le doesn r 'rhink loo much ol school, And lives in ihe Lakeside zone. Leonard comes from Jackson, loo. A very good narured fellow. l'le smiles whenever he sees you, And always says hello. Bill lives on a farm and musi work hard. For he sleeps in school each day, l-le 'rook a chance and won a ham, Bur io The seniors gave ii away. Rira is very shorr and sweei, Good in her siudies loo. She has no irouble linding a beau, 'Cause her eyes are blue. A girl who's crazy aboui Marines, Who likes io acl and sing, ls Carol lvlunson, a Lakeside girl, Who likes everybody and everylhing. Gene Leslie is medium iall, Has blonde hair, is a friend ro all. Alfie is one of his many pals. We 'rhink he has lois of gals. Qur class sponsor is Mr. Seals, Omar is his iirsi name, We'll lake rhis opporiuniry, To wish him a quick rise io fame. This is our finale And all we have io say, For lwelve years we've worked For ihis, wonderful day. Some of us are glad io leave, Oihers would raiher slay, Bui in This case Pariing is noi sweer sorrow To us, as we go away.
