New Mexico ' s chapter of Alpha Zeta national honor- ary agricultural fraternity was founded in 1927. Mem- bership is based on scholarship, leadership, and char- acter. This year Alpha Zeta ran the Ag building voting polls, offered a free Tutoring Service, and was in charge of the Student Recognition Program. William J Bass, Rick McKelvey, Bryan Gleaton, Jeff Myers, Dennis Hall, Norm Murray, Doug Lunsford, Ray Padilla, Randy Sabine, Steve Neville, Ron Koch, Brad Gates, Micheal Casabonne, Stepfien P Germain, Bobby Brittain, Wayne Dunlap, David R Brown, Scott Sfiafer, Loren JohndhI, James Larkin, James McCauley, William R Bauersfeld, James Maness, Stephen Yeick, Ricar- do Ortega, Peter Gnatknowski, William Bigsby, Gale Carter, Scott K, Fowler, Steven McClanahan, Jack Bacastow, Blue Key National Honor Fraternity is a general honor fraternity which bases its eligibility on all-around leadership in student affairs and high scholastic achievement. Since the establishment of the NMSU Blue Key Chapter in 1956, the chapter has aided the university and community with numerous service proj- ects. This year the chapter established the All-Aggie Homecoming Barbecue with the Alumni Association as a yearly tradition, installed two bicycle racks, and do- nated time and money to the Challenge I project of NMSU. Our membership was honored by the induction of President Gerald W. Thomas as an honorary mem- ber.
