Dedicated To AJDR HARRY D. BLAKE Few Cadets go through the Institute without becoming ac- quainted with Major Harry Blake, who has taught mathematics, bi- ology, and other subjects with skill and warm friendliness for thirty years. But few of those who know him will realize that his span of ac- quaintance with the Institute began during Wo1'ld War I, when he was a new Cadet. Old timers will tell you of Major Blakels exploits on the football field-he was good enough to be put on the all-time All-Institute eleven. And everyone will testify to his industry, competence, and good nature. A good Cadet, a good alumnus, a good faculty member: here are three reasons why this year,s BRONCO is dedicated to Harry D. Blake, Sr.
