The last time the Flyers won top honors was in 1958. New Market also obtained the traveling keg in the thriller to keep it the remainder of the season. On the way to the top the Flyboys routed Alamo 79-52 and Ladoga 57-45. New Market de- feated both teams in the regular season ' s play.
