10414444- First came our junior Play 'Star Crazy.' Every member of the class did some kind of work to help the play along to a successful end. After the play came the Class Tourney! The junior boys came out triumphant! With the coming of spring came the junior-Senior Reception. This was our first real grown-up entertaimnent, and we really put it over with a bang! It was held at the Club House at Craw- fordsville. The Club House was decorated like an Hawaiian Is- land. Palms were arranged over the floor to give the impression of a southern atmosphere. As we entered the Senior year we found we had lost 6 members. These were Robert Cox, Ruth Lester, Dale Maltsburger, Roberta Rusk, Doretha Wininger and joe Zachary. joan Steele and Betty Trimble entered into our class making a total of 17 members. Lukily all the members of the senior class--Berley Britton, Marvin Burkett, Bob Buser, Harold Cash, Theron Davis, Eddie Deck, Kenneth Gardner, Clayton Morgan, David Myers, Lois Quigg, Arthur Rice, Max Servies, Ailene Swearingen, joan Steele, Geneva Todd, Betty Trimble, and Darlene Wheeler--will get their diplomas in April. Several of our boys expect to start working for Uncle Sam at the end of the school year. The mernbers of our class who play on the New Market Basketball teams are: Marvin Burkett. Bob Buser, Harold Cash, Eddie Deck, Clayton Morgan, and David Myers. Our class officers are: President, Marvin Burkett, Vice President, Clayton Morgan, Secretary-Treasurer, Geneva Todd. Our sponsor is Mr. Paul Wilson. The members of the class who represent us on the Student Council are Marvin Burkett and Clayton Morgan. ' After our graduation in April we shall all go our into the world and either 'make or break' ourselves, No matter how many happy experiences or hardships we encounter, we will all remember the good times of the 'Class of l946.'

PWM SENIOR CLASS WILL I heard two women talking the other day And brother! ljust couldn't miss a word Now if you'l1 not whisper a word I say I'll tell you just what I heard! Of course, I wouldn't want anybody to know That I had told you all of this And if you listen I'll go real slowg There's some things you don't want to miss. Myrtle stuck her head over the fence, And hollered at old woman Lossip Then's when all the gabbin' commence And my S'Ca1'S and garters! What gossip! Now you'd never catch me gossipin' like that I'd feel plum disgraced if you ever did I always go to the telephone anyway I don't want any old gossip hens buttin in. Now as I was sayin' there they was just talkin' and gabbin' like thirty Now listen real close to what I say And sometime I'll act like Gertie! They was talkin' about the Senior Class And what they were all going to will They're willin' it to the junior Class And some of the things just fit the bill. From what I hear Berley Britton's red hot temper is to go, To the girl in the junior Class by the name of Alice Lowe With his temper on top of what she's got, I don't think she'll need it though But Myrtle said that Berley insisted that his temper go to Alice Lowe. Marvin Burkett is giving his brains to Darrel Sandusky! I don't know why Darrel would want them-- They've grown so very musky! I think he'd better keep them for himself- -don't you! Oh! I guess not!--Some say Lois Kessler has enough for two! And Bob Buser is giving up his warm seat on the basketball bench He's willing it to Tomniy Webb, the boy from Bal Hinch! I hope Tommy keeps it warm for at least part of the year, So do I - then they can look at that ancient bench and say, 5Bob Buser sat here.' Did you know Harold Cash is willing his sense of humor away, l'll bet he'll be a great big grouch forever after that day! But who is he willing it to? - Who hasn't got a sense of humor? He's willing it to Emery Steele--it's the very latest rumor!
