Now, the time for the 1959 Seniors to leave has come and so that we will be Gone, but not forgotten . We the '59 class, in the town of New Marion, the county of Ripley, and the state of Indiana, being in as good mental condition as usual, and in much better temper than usual, do hereby make this, our last will and testament, rendering void and of no avail any former will or wills that may have been previously made by us during a period of temporary optimism. To the Freshman we leave lettuce, because they will always be green. To the Sophmore's we leave carrots for those they adore, are hard on the eyes. To the Junior's we leave lemons, because they always have a sour look. To all future Seniors we leave tomatoes, because four years being pushed around will make anyone juicy Carolyn Andress wills her cheerleadership to Judy Estell. Donald Mathis wills his sideburns to Melvin Palmer. David Meisberger wills his wavy hair to Larry Morrison. Leon Cole wills his sideburns to Larry Flint. Noah Sexton wills his Hot 4l Chev. to Mrs. Graves. Ruth Ann Shadday wills her ability to stay home on Saturday nights to Sandra Wagner. Bobby Meisberger will his ability to get to school on time to Donald Mathis. Benton Cole wills his ability to ride a cow to Johnny Meisberger. Shirley Chandler wills her long hair to Cathy Naegele. lla Leach wills her ability to be engaged in her senior year to Mary Palmer. Franklin Waddle wills his ability to get along with Mrs. Graves to Frank Samples. E81 0 CLASS PROPHECY I CMI. Whitakerl after ten years, having nothing to do, decided to visit the graduates of 59. My first stop was at Lexington, Kentucky where I was greeted by Benton Cole, I was surprised to find that Benton was not married yet, but was planning on it as soon as he graduated from the University of Kentucky where he was studying how to fly. After talking over the old times at New Marion, we had lunch together, and then Ihad to catch the bus to Tennessee. , While walking down the street in Bolivar, Tennessee I ran into another one of the former graduates. It was Noah Sexton. He told me that he was married and had three children. He was coach at Bolivar High School. After meeting his family and wife, I journeyed on my way to Montana. Arriving at Montana I was very surprised when I ran into Leon Cole. He was married and had four boys. He owns a small farm and the owner of the Cole's Shot-Gun factory in Huston, Montana. He told me that he devoted much of his spare time to all kinds of hunting. After spending the night with Leon I flew to Colorado. As Istepped out of the plane in Colorado I ran into one of the pilots. And who do you think it was no one but David Meisberger. David not having much time to talk because he had a flight to make. He told me he was engaged to one of the air-line hostess. He told me his flight was to New York. So since Robert was at New York Iclimbed back on the plane with him and we flew to New York. After leaving David I made tracks to a restaurant. Just as I sat down to the table a man walked up to me and said, May Ihelp you? as I turned around I saw it was Robert Meisberger. He told me he owned the place and was doing very well. He wasn 't married yet but was still looking. After drinking, my coke and talking a bit with Robert, Ileft to catch my plane to Florida. Arriving at Florida I decided to go swimming, while walking on the beach I stumbled over someone's feet, just as I tumed around to say excuse me , I saw that it was Donald Mathis. We started talking and he told me he was married and had three children. He was the owner of a big poultry house and had five thousand chickens. He invited me to his house where Imet his wife and family. After dinner Ihad to catch my plane to California. Q l91 RUTH ANN SHADDAY CAROLYN ANN ANDRESS ILA MAE LEACH SHIRLEY CHANDLHI BENTON J.
