Friend: HDoes your bride know anything about cooking?n Launstein: NWell, I heard her telephoning her mother inquiring if she had to use soft water for soft-boiled eggs and hard water for hard- boiled eggs.N Helena was walking past the butcher shop one day and saw the lines conspicuously paint- ed in white letters on the window: Weiners ---------- 50 Hamburgers ------- 27 NMy landln she exclaimed.nWhat a game.n Cft heard: NSure I know him. He sleeps next to me in Econom- ics class.N NNow,N said the teacher, NGive me a definition of space.N WSpace,N Rosalyn began, NIS where there is nothing. I can't explain it exactly, but I have it in my head.N Sarah: NSo you finally heard from that college boy who took you out?N Elizabeth: nYes, and he's a real gentleman. I join ed the 'E' patrol.W Brower: NThe 'B' patrol?N Merlin: NYes, sir, I'm gonna 'B' here when they leave, and I'm gonna 'B' here when they come back.N A patient teacher was trying to show a small boy how to read with expression. NWhere- are-you-going?N read Jimmy, laboriously, with no accent whatever. NTry that again,N said the teacher. NRead as if you were talking.
