1939 - MISTEGUAY - 1940 FRESHMAN CLASS HISTORY In writing our class history we shall begin with that eventful morning that first brought us together as a class. Everything was Quite strange and new. when we answered the roll call, we found there were eighteen freshmen present. They were: Juanita Bailey, Raymond Billbrough, Charles Bruff, Robert Conroy, Jack Cromwell, Coyla Crow, Bruce Delbridge, Wayne Delbridge, Donald Edwards, Dolph Fuller, Barbara Jacobs, Dale McGrain, Carl McKone, Marie Murphy, Eileen Roach, Donald Sanborn, Peter Solomon and Richard Sweers. The second week of school we had a class meeting and chose our class officers whose names are: President-Coyla Crow, Vice-President-Peter Solomon, Secretary-Eileen Roach, Treasurer-Raymond Billbrough and Miss Ingles as our class adviser. The Freshmen all dreaded it when initiation time came. We all were told that the girls had to wear boys clothes and the boys had to wear girls clothes. Of course we looked simply terrible and some of us felt far worse. The afternoon of initiation day we had to do tricks and march through town. No doubt some people saw us as we went through town. Since that time we have had several nice parties which everyone has enjoyed. We are proud of not having lost anyone out of our class so far this year and we hope that we may keep up this good record and have everyone back in the Fall of l94O.
