Marching Band The marching band brought home another Division I this year. Although beset by many obstacles of nature such as rain and mud, the band, under the constant supervision of Franklin Krieger, went onto prove tiial they have one of the finest precision bands in the slate. All State Band Ronald Lem and Byron Quandt par- ticipated in the All-State Band which was held at the KRNT Theater in Des Moines over Thanksgiving vacation. Sax Trio and Sax Quartet Sandra Hobart, Sara Burkhart, Rita DeSfxiin, Duane Snailes, Dayle Linder, Marcia Martin, Ronald Lenz. The new sax group, the trio, received a Division I rating this year. The quar- tet received a 11. Clarinet and Woodwind Trios Carol Prehtn, Harvey Quandt, Sharon Angst cad, Ronald Lenz, Diane lledfern, Barbara Denney, Dorothy Peterson, Pat Petzinger (missing). The trio consisting of three soprano clarinets, atul the trio consisting of soprano and bass clarinets, and a flute received Division I ratings. The mixed clarinet group received a II. French Horn Quartet and Brass Sextet Byron Quandt, Avon Coe, Nancy Mc- Neely, Barbara Hill, Eddie Blythe, Fred Messer, Aaron Coe, Bill Shipley, Linda Iiedfern.
