,Z X OPERETTA CAST PRINCIPLES Seated, left to right Bob Marshall, Gwenivere Hanks, Bob Corrick, Suzanne Wessel, Hayward Rogers, Janet Edwards, B111 Eckey Standing Waunita Smith Ronnie Lee, Elenore Davey, Dick Dunlavy, Betty Drehm, George Ellio t, Ruby McKee, Gene Ball, Jean Edwards, Bob Wright, Berdita Mbsbey The annual operetta was presented November 13 in the high school au itorium at 8 OO in the evening The production, 'Words and Musicn was directed by J W Pritchard and accompanied by Suzanne Wessel at the piano The cast included both Glee Clubs and Fernando Fussbutton, President of Barton College Hayward Rogers Anastasius Longword, Dean of Men Bob Marshall Samanthia Highnote, Dean of Women Gwenivere Hanks John Warren, Secretary to Dean Longword Bill Eckey Mary Allen, Secretary to Dean Highnote Janet Edwards Jerry, Cheerleader . . . . . . . . . . . . G. A. Elliott Washington, Colored Janitor . . . . . . . . . . Bob Corrick Special Groups . Jean Edwards Berdita Mbsbey, Elenore Davey, Betty Prehm, Waunita Smith, Ruby McKee, Ronald Lee, Bob Wright, Gene Ball, Howard Dutton, Dick Dunlavy. The story took place in Barton College just after the professors engaged in writing and producing of the Barton operetta had taken the measles. The responsibility was then given to the incapable professor Dean Highnote and Dean Longword, and though they failed Barton College produced their best operetta. The sale of tickets was accomplished by a contest, giving the students in the operetta a dollar for selling the most tickets. The contest was sponsored by M .
