We all enjoyed this part of F. T. A. most of all because it gave 'us an insight into what we might expect as future teachers. Several discussions were held on subjects such as preparing for college, the qualities of a good teacher, and United States education vs. Russian education. The dance band was formed in December of 1956. This year has been spent in building up the band's repertoire of numbers. The band has also added a vocalist, Teddi Towstiak, and a third trombone, john Gregory, to its list of members. A highflight of the year was our being offered a chalice to make tape recordings for WATG, the Ashland radio station, and to do a live show at the station. We hope big things will come of this chance. We played at a dance in lvlonroeville and at the dance after the anf nual New London Senior Supper. We are anticipating next year to be a busy one.
