sul nn H H a' ' we M FD' b To the Members of the Class of 1959: For four years you have been anticipating the day in June when you will receive your diploma from New London High School. Now that the day is nearly here you are filled with mixed emotions. How well you have applied yourself and how much you have taken advantage of the opportunities offered to you these past four years will determine, to some extent, how successful you will be in the future. Each of you knows whether or not you have done your best or if you have shirked along the way. Regardless of what you have done you should y strive to do even better. The results will be a pleasant surprise to you. The faculty joins me in congratulating you on your achievement and in wishing you success in the future. Sincerely yours, Robert J. Livingston Principal S Zn To the Members of the Class of 1959: Congratulations to each of you as you graduate--your work here is over. 5 The future holds many things in store for you. Success and happiness are generally measured in terms of the individual's ability and willing- F ness to make the most of opportunities as they unfold. Further education 3 --formal or informal--should provide one of the best means of shaping a happy and worthwhile existence for each of you. As alumni, you now join with all other graduates in demonstrating the real value of New London High School. I am confident that your accomplishments will further justify our faith in you and serve to strengthen the good name of your school. Cordially yours, Gordon B.
