To the Members of the Class of 1956: Mayl extend congratulations to each of you as you com- plete your secondary education. Graduation signifies an accomplishment--not easily or quickly attained--and brings with it a personal satisfaction in seeing a job through to completion. You enter a society beset with many problems. However, the opportunities for advancement and achievement are great. There is still no easy road to success and good fortune us- ually comes inthe degree and measure to which it is sought. To the Members of the Class of 1956: Yours has been a small class, which has given you many problems not encountered by the larger classes, but this fact alone has done much in preparing you for your future work. You have learned the necessity of cooperating with your classmates and accepting responsibilities as individuals in order to carry on your many class activities. At times you have seemed discouraged and have been ready to call it quits, but you always have found that inner strength so necessary to carry through to completion any activity you have started. We hope you will look back at your days spent at New London High School as some of the best and happiest days in your life. You will go in many directions when you leave here and it is our hope that we have played at least a small part in preparing you to make the many choices so necessary for a successful and happy life.
