if , If The beginning of our Junior year will be remembered for a bake sale, a candy sale, the junior dance and a car washing service. These were all part of the effort to make money for our prom. We were upper classmen now and we participated in all the schools teams and clubs. We were well represented in sports with many boys making the varsity in each sport. After the bad news of exams we got some good news as our class rings finally arrived. We may have been a bit prejudiced, but we thought they were the best ever. One warm spring evening we put on our best and went to the prom that we had been working so hard to make a success. When we awoke late the next day we were able to look back on a wonderful evening. The-prom was all we had hoped it to be and more. With the coming of awards day we were able to look towards the goal we had set out to attain three short years ago. It was hard to believe, but next year we would have the coveted title of Seniors. ROW 4: G. Sampson, R. Langner, R. Sasman, I. Kloehn, G. Marcks, J. Kuppemuss, J. Moeller, J. McClone, W. Maggie. ff fl As our sophomore year comes to an end, we look back on the many happy times we had in school and out of school. It was quite different from our freshman year, because we were more bold, and unafraid to speak up and express our opinions. Taking part in plays, sports, and other activities became more of a challenge to us, because there was more competition. We weren't just competing with members of our own class. We did have one big victory, winning first place in the homecoming parade. We went out and made new friends and became even more familiar with our school. We explored different subjects and tried to make up our mind what courses we should take to prepare us for the future werwere planning for our- selves. Next year we can look forward to being upper classmen. With this objective in mind, we will be looking for more active participation in all activities. ROW 4: I. Prahl, E. Lehman, J. Magalska, C.
