HEADI G FOR THE LAST ROU DUP Wlhen we first entered this building, we thought our 'Iunior year would neyer come. lr seemed to us that the .Iuniors had the most aetiyities and lun. But it eame sooner than we thought. And it passed faster than most of us wanted it to. We had much excitement and many good times. Much ot our spare time was used lor outside activities. Our lirst hig thrill was our class rings. We thought they were the prettiest of any elass. We showed them oil to all the other students heeause we were proud ol them. VVC lelt Hattered when a Senior remarked that they liked ours hetter than their own. Our second and higgest thrill was the prom. We chose Russell Ruseh as our prom king and Maytime as our theme. Now that our first three years are finished, we hope our last year will he just as wonderful as the hrst three. Hmm' Tlirec: G. Deller, R. Diley, R. lialthazor, S. Brigham, G. Bruss, ,l. Oli boy are we lucky g gym only twice a weekl But now we have to figure how X5 4X W' ZX rf ? P F Do we have to take algebra? Even world history marches our wav. The Sophomore class has proved itself to be a big improvement over its Freshman year. Maybe the thought of no longer being Fresh had something to do with the situation. The class has a high scholastic ability, proved by the large number of students on the honor roll. In addition to being a scholastic group, they are Well represented in extra-curricular activities. ln addition to their hard studies, the Sophomores turned out to win second place among the lour classes in the Halloween Hoats. They came out in third place among the school organizations. Spring rolled along and with it came the happy thought of vacations, and no more hard work. As taps were heard in the distance, they looked lorward with eager eyes to the time when they would become big Juniors' lion' liour: P. Collier, G. Carey, R. Ehlke, E. Beckman, D. Dey, D. Dratli ll.
