SFNIOR CLASS HISTORY On a beautiful day of September second in the year of our Lord One thousand nine hundred and fifty, we as a promising group of intellectual appearing youths started our freshman year at the New Lisbon High School, some barefooted, others dressed in there best bib and tuckers. During our freshman year we had two boys on the varsity basketball team, four in varsity baseball and during that year we sponsored The Hollywood Animal Act and sold popcorn at school functions. In our Sophomore year we lost two class- mates, Clifford and Corlyn Parkhurst. Imogene Loveless represented us as Candidate for Queen. We had four boys in basketball and three in F. H. A. Two members in band and two in chorus Zella Mae represented us as one of the Yell Leaders. We sold cokes at the school functions During our Junior year we lost Jack Mc- Cubbins, Elmer Hall and Russel Curnutt. To increase the class fund we sold magizines, Christmas Cards and had a scrape drive. We had our class play, No Rhyme Nor Reason , which turned out quite successfully. We had one girl in chorus. Three boys in basketball and two in baseball. Seniors at last! Starting the year with nine members. All nine of them working hard selling candy and ice cream to fill our funds for the trip East. After twelve years it finally became our turn to wear caps and gowns and walk forward to get our diplomas. We'are now alummi for l954. Q f? 25 ! fu Q 7
