It definitely was a year of new faces, new challenges, new opportunities, and many cherished memories. Most important, it was one big step toward their goal of graduation. The junior class elected the following officers to lead their 134 members for the 1963-64 term: Mike Bennett, president; Janie DePinto, vice president; Gloria Cannon, secretary; and Larry Kennedy, treasurer. One of the important events during the junior year is the arrival of the class rings in January. During the remainder of the year, the juniors study hard for scholarship tests and work to raise the class treasury for the big event of the year--the Junior-Senior Prom. The class play, Stranger in the Night,” a comedy-mystery, added to this cause as well as the dances and refreshment stand which they sponsored.
