■ Our American way of life and the future of all liberty loving people are on trial in the eyes of the world. The youth of our nation must take advantage of every opportunity to prepare themselves to take their place of leadership in the development of the social and scientific aspects of our free society. To keep and strengthen the free world and insulate it against -the inroads of International Communism is the makor objectives of those nations dedicated to freedom. We hope that your High School training will serve as a stepping stone to prepare you for a worthwhile contribution to this objective of the free world. SUPERINTENDENT Myron F. Fowler The Plus of Praise. Praise is a kind of spiritual vitamin. Children, grown-ups, all of us, need it to be emotionally healthy. We can only get it from others. In a sense, it is a debt we owe each other—especially to those who are doing things for us. A decent salary alone never pays for such service. Even a raise won't do it. But put a P in front of the word and watch what happens.
