CLAS HlS'l'0RY As we lofty Semors look back over our school years we can strll remember Our mmdsare not con trary to popular belref so feeble that we can not recall the brg and lrttle thurgs that happened through fouryears of ahem unurmgeffort' Let us attempt to go back to our Freshman Year All 68 met t.he frrst day as a class m Sept 48 The ones who had suffered throu h Iumor H1 met the new comets rom the other schools rn the drstrrct Srnce both roups approved of each other ave been a happy class all four years Our offrcers that year were Hal Saffell Jerry Rerd Glen Strles and Darrel Cromn We drdn t have many actrvrtres that year several werner roasts and one dance about completed the lrst Our hard work Ro ert Plarsted B111 Abram and Jerry Whrte When we started thls year we thought we knew almost everythrng when rt ended we were much wlser and decrdedly more humble Sophomores we all agree that thrs was one of the best years Our offrcers were BtllWh1tt1ngton Char les Stemen and Pat Spar gler They trred to start us on our frnances that we could approach our next year wtth more securrty but then as now the lo rcal opportunrtres were lrmtted e drd have a skat mg party Nancy Frsher was the Queen s Attendant Margot Holden and Jerry Whrte were the Student Councrl members We realrzed thrs class was tmportantfor we had band and glee club members football and basketball players and two out of four of our cheerleaders were Sophomores Our Junror Year started before we were actually aware of rt Our offrcers were Hal Saffell Jerry Rerd and Pat Span ler and they worked hard wrth us or our banquet and prom Jrm McLatn was on the Stu dent Councrl along wtth a great presl dent Jerry Whtte The Queen s Attendant was Nan Ftsher We agarn had athletrc and musrcal members We spent Iunror Day at Buckeye Lake Thrs year too four of the Jumors were rmtrated rnto the Honor Socrety they were Jean Marlowe Glen Strles Pat Eccarrus and Hal Saffell Senrors how good that word sounded to us most of whrch felt able trtle Our offrcers are Nancy Davts Roger Bowers Mar ot Holden and Pat Spangler We e ected Nan F1sherHomecom1ng Queen and Betty Shumaker her Senror Attendant Student Councrl members are Jrm McLarn B111 Angle Bob Wrllrams andlerry Whtte resrdent The band and glee club ootball and basket ball teams have many of our rllus trrous members ln summarrzrng all four years we realrze we could not have done thts wrthout the able advrce of Mr Neff and Mrs Folden We depart from here wrth happy and never to be forgotten memories We know forsure that several rn our group wrll brmghonor plus fame to the Class of .32 , . , ' I I . , . , . , E , we ' I U ' .
