VAAA - SUB TIT TE F C LTY Mrs. Mary Hoge Mr. Frank Dicke Mrs. Viola Katterheinrich Mrs. Mildred Aufderhaar Mrs. Clara Bode The above substitute teachers have played an important part in our school system this year. All types of sickness, especially influenza, affected the faculty as well as a large percentage of the students. While the school remained in session, it would not have been very efficient except for the good deeds of these teachers who left their work at home so that the school could operate properly. Mrs. Mary Hoge substituted twelve weeks in first grade from October until Christmas vacation. She also helped us on several other occasions. Mrs. Mildred Aufderhaar was also very helpful when we needed an additional teacher. On one occasion we had three substitute teachers. Mr. Frank Dicke came in to teach a week when Mr. Freymuth accompanied several of the F.F.A. boys to Kansas City, Missouri to attend the National F.F.A. Convention. Mrs. Clara Bode took over for Mrs. Ilversman for one six weeks period as well as other periodic occasions when members of the Eversman family were sick. Hired as substitute teacher, Mrs. Viola Kat- terheinrich came on short notice throughout the school year and substituted for almost every faculty menl- ber at some time or other. We are deeply indebted to these substitute teachers and thank them for their services. Fourteen
