Left to right: Mr. McKean, Mr. Blackburn, Mr. Stewart, Mr. Fisher, Miss Mazur, Mr. Vaughan, Mr. Wolf, lVlr. Daughenbaugh, Mr. Churchill, Dr. Chapman. The Board ol Education The class of 1946 of New Kensington High School wishes to acknowledge a debt of gratitude to the Board of Education. All too often the services of this group go unrecognized and unappreciated by many of those whom they serve. We, who have attended New Kensington schools for 12 years, realize how much we owe to the citizens of New Kensington and to these men in particular who are the elected representatives of the voters. Realizing the importance of education in solving the perplexing problems of our post-war world, they plan for our schools comprehensive programs designed to provide opportunities for boys and girls to become the best possible citizens of tomorrow. Not only do members attend regular school board meetings, but they assure us of their interest by their presence at games, plays, assemblies, and banquets. Members of the group include Mr. Charles Vaughan Jr., president, Mr. H. V. Churchill, vice-presidentg Mr. Howard Stewart, treasurer, Mr. E. H. Black- burn, Mr. A. F. Daughenbaugh, Mr. Cecil V. Fisher, and Mr. H. L. Wolf. Miss Veronica Mazur is secretary of the board and Mr. F. W. McKean, solicitor. Dr. E. T. Chapman is superintendent of all schools in New Kensington School District.
