Aller lhe lilling ol lhe olher posilions on lhe slall, a meeling with Mr. Wise was scheduled and lhe Taleoken was oll lo a llying slarl. lmmedialely a subscriplion campaign was launched, and in lhe prescribed lime an unprecedenled number ol subscriplions was enlisled. The pholography slall wenl inlo aclion and in a shorl lime every sludenl in lhe school had been pholo- graphed individually, even lhough some piclures were less prelenlious lhan olhers. The Taleoken ollice, adjoining Room 4Ol, was lhen lurned inlo a bee-hive ol aclivily as lhese eighleen hundred pholographs were sorled, classilied, and mounled by lhe combined ellorls ol lhe pholography, edilorial, and business slalls. Mr. Colao, lhe pholographer, was nol idle, because pictures ol lhe various clubs, school aclivilies, and leams had lo be snapped belore a complele piclure ol Ken Hi in H38-39 could be allained. The edilorial slall, nol lo be ouldone by lhe ardenl pholography and ad-seeking business slall, began lo plan lhe lilerary pallern ol lhe book. lnlormalion blanks were lilled oul by all lhe seniors, and lhe senior edilors spent many hours uncovering lhe varied hidden likes, dislikes and ambi- lions ol lhe gradualing class. Wilh lhe aid ol lhese lacls lhe edilors were able lo wrile lhumb-nail skelches ol all lhe seniors.
