Dr. James F orcina Professor, Dean of Instruction For you seniors, the SEAL is a culminating chronicle of four good years at TSC. Probably you will enjoy it thoroughly for a few months and pack it away somewhere. Then one fine day in the far future, you will come across it, wipe off the dust and relive with a sense of nostalgia your college daysg for only here will you be able to 'recall campus events and places and meet again all of your friends and teachers exactly as they were in 1965. The Class of 1965 has distinguished itself in a dual achievement. Its members have attained the profes- sional and academic objectives of the college pro- gram, and by their service and example they have left a deep impression in the total collegiate effort toward excellence. As they move highly expectant in their professional world, they should never cease to strive for perfection and truth, but should not re- lent or fret because erfeetion and truth seem to become increasingly distantg they should strive al- ways to work cooperatively and sympathetically with people, the chief commodity of their profession, but should not be discouraged or misled by the sober realities of human frailty and be less than complete harmony. We who teach the students of this college can promise the members of the Class of 1965 that teach- ing will bring great satisfaction and happiness to those who are dedicated to it. We can also advise that continued learning is precious and does not cease with the granting of a degree. Learning, how- ever, must be desired and ursued with diligence and often with reat effort if it is to be achieved at ever hi her levegs. The faculty of Trenton State College joins me in extending congratulations and best wishes for suc- cess to the Class of 1965. FN. 'vii Dr. Wilton Pruitt Professor, Dean of Student Personnel 13
