We offer you our book without apologies and without excuses. lt is the result gentle reader, of several months of toil and hair-graying worry lf you like it, we are glad indeed: If you don't like it we are sorry. lt has many defects, we know: and probably, if one should look through it from cover to cover, one wouIdn't finc a single thing that could not be criticized severely. But wher you are tempted to 'knock' it and when you feel like saying what you would have done were you the editor, kindly remembei the Golden Rule.
