So great is this net- work that one often wonders how the curricula in each of the schools are kept so uniform. At this point, we become aware-of the Subiect Area Co- ordinators. It is their function to regulate the uni- formity of these curricula in the schools throughout the district. In order to do this, each Coordinator is familiar with every phase of subject matter and student-teacher relations within his department. Coupling this knowledge with a vast store of actual teaching experience, the Coordinator performs his du- ties quickly and etticiently. Although we never see these Coordinators be- cause their ofhces are located at Sewanhaka, these people play an important role in the lives of each and every student in the district. ffx,:?,.-.--ff. - - School Nurse Science Mrs. Lena O'Connell 8 Mr. Carl Eklund Girls' Physical Education Miss Virginia Gill -. .
