Marshals The honor of being a Marshal is awarded to the top eight juniors who have the highest academic averages in their class. The Marshals usher at the graduation and Baccalaureate ceremonies. The 1964-65 Marshals were: Thomas Smith; Diane Hill, Chief; Jo Ann Anderson; Bonnie Strickland; Margaret Best; Kay Hinson; Sandra Wheeler; and Mary Hyde. D A R The Daughters of the American Revolution Good Citizen Award was given to Phyllis Smith. She was chosen on her leadership, service, dependability, and patriotism. 20

Catching the different phases of student life was the responsibility of Margaret Best, Cornelia Sullivan, and Edith Wade Brown. Annual Staff Through the creative imagination of Diane Hill and Phyllis Smith, the new ideas of arranging class pictures were brought forth.
