Other Adminislralors Are Mr. Ralph Cain, who served New Hope High School as a coach and teacher in 1970- 71, completed his second consecutive year as assistant principal. In addition to assisting Mr. Murray in the administration of the school, Mr. Cain taught psychology. After graduating from Belmont High School in Belmont, Mississippi, Mr. Cain received a B.A. degree in psychology from Mississippi State University. Murray, who has served the Madison County School Sys- tem for 14 years, completed his third year as principal of New Hope High School. During the past 14 years he has held such positions as teacher, coach and assistant principal. Mr. Murray holds a B.S. degree in history and sociology from Memphis State University and a Master's degree in school administration from Alabama A8rM University. He is currently com- pleting an AA certification from Auburn University . Mr. Murray supports, with his spirit and cooperation, the teachers ahd stu- dents in academic and extracurricular activities of the school.

In addition to her administrative duties, she taught Title I classes for students with special needs in reading. Mr. Jack Mitchell served this year as Director of the Community School. Mr. Mitchell, who also taught math in the high school, organized and directed the New Hope branch of Northeast Alabama State Junior College. ' Ms. June Buckelew, guidance counselor, con- ducted diagnostic tests and provided statistical data to assist in curricular development and evaluation.
