Deloris Iantha lfwlson August 31, 1933 Willie Chorus 11,2,3,45g T.C.N. Business Staff 1453 Patrol 13,455 Leoninus Business Staff 145. This slender, dark-haired lass entered the class of '52 in eighth grade, when she moved to New Holland from Burlington, North Carolina. We all enjoyed her delightful drawl, but since then she's traded many of her you-alls for yet and still . Even so, classmates often have trouble distinguishing between her pins and pens . Willie presents a very chic appearance, for she is always tidy and well-groomed. Her wonderful sense of humor and timely remarks have brightened many a dull moment both in school and out. She is an expert dancer, and enjoys it as one of her favor- ite pastimes. Having taken the commercial course, Iantha plans to work as a secretary after graduation. Her friendly manner and co- operativeness should aid her in her chosen field. Ray Allen Wolfe October 27, 1934 Boozie Basketball 1153 Leoninus Business Staff 1453 T.C.N. Business Staff 12,3,45g Advertising Manager, T.C.N. 1455 Senior Chorus 145. There's never a dull moment with Boozie around. His con- stant wit and sense of humor have enlivened our classrooms since first grade. During hunting season, you will often find Ray with a gun in his hand, and a dog by his side. Now where could we find a toy automobile? Yes, that's Ray hunting for props for the Town Clock News Revue. He has been the capable chai1'man of many property committees dur- ing his years in school. Most of his spare time is spent working at his father's filling station. His foremost ambition is to own his own garage. Robert Lee Zoller December 7, 1934 Bob Baseball 12,3,45g Soccer 12,3,45g Basketball 12,3,45g Senior Play 1453 Leoninus Business Stad' 1455 Chorus 115. As can be seen by his picture, this amiable fellow has a friendly, winning smile. Bob can always be found laughing and joking with a crowd of classmates. His interests lie in the field of sports, mainly centering about baseball, but soccer and basketball also 1'ank high with him. At the present Bob spends his spare time working at Dick- inson's Garage. He is uncertain of his future plans.

fanet Margaret Trimmer August 17, 1934 Trim Chorus 11,2,315 Senior Play 1415 Tri-Hi-Y 1315 Hockey 12,315 Basketball 1315 Tennis 13,415 Yearbook Editorial stair 141. Trim , one of the original members of our class, is an avid sports fan. Her favorite season of the year is summer because she can play tennis or go hiking and camping. She roams through woods and fields taking pictures of outdoor life and scenery. A sincere, straightforward attitude makes Trim a very valuable friend. In the Senior Play these characteristics helped Trim portray the mother. This brown-eyed brunette does not definitely know what she wants to do in the future, but she is considering teaching. Ruth Raymell Tucker March 25, 1933 Raymell Band 11,2,3,415 Cafeteria 11,2,3,415 Chorus 12,3,415 Patrol 1415 Hockey 12,3,415 Basketball 13,415 Cheerlead- mg 13,415 Leoninus Business Staff 141. Raymell came to New Holland from Troy, North Carolina, at the beginning of her sixth year of school. Having taken the home-making course in school, she can prove her ability along that line by sewing many a fine, straight seam. One may see her working as an usher at the local theatre on Saturday evenings. Raymell collects miniature horses as a hobby. At the pres- ent time she has 65 of them, in various sizes and colors. All sports interest her, but she enjoys playing guard in basketball most of all. This tall, dark-haired girl with the winning' personality plans to be a model after graduation. Donald Allen Weaver July 16, 1934 Don Basketball 1115 Glee Club 1115 Class Vice Presi- dent 121. Don became a member of our class in fourth grade, and has been a colorful individual ever since. Often referred to as Spence , he can frequently be seen about town in his trusty '36 Chevy. Don's haircut and continual tardiness in the morning have become Weaver trademarks . Most of his time is spent working at the local cheese plant, although his future will probably be in some branch of the service.
