This tall, blue-eyed lad has been a popular member of our class since 1940 when he entered Miss Bender's first grade. Sied was the president of our Good Citizens' Club when we were in fifth grade. He capably guided our grade for the past two years. Don was also vice-president of the Student Council in his junior year. All through school Sied has been in the midst of jokes and merriment. He may often be found playing basketball or base- ball. At the present time Sied is working at Musselman's. After graduation he hopes to major in engineering at Pennsylvania State College. Kenneth Miles Stone July 22, 1934 Stone Chorus 141. Ken came to our Alma Mater as a sophomore after complet- ing his first year of high school at Upper Leacock. His interests cover several different types of activities. In- dustrial art is his favorite subject but he is also interested in chemistry and mathematics. Ken also spends some time trapping and hunting. Although Stone is one of the more reserved members of our class, he has proved himself a congenial and pleasing friend to all. His future is undecided but we label him a can't miss in any career he might choose. Louis Floyd Trego November 14, 1933 Floyd Hunting and fishing are the favoiite pastimes of this new comer. Raising Bantam Chickens also consumes much of his time. Floyd joined us in our Senior year from Salisbury. Working around cars also interests this friendly fellow. In school, shop is his favorite subject. Floyd works for his father as a part time electrician. After graduation he hopes to work either as a full time electrician, or on a farm.

fulianne Sensenig September 12, 1934 Julie Senior Chorus f1,2,3,41g Leoninus Business Staff 141g Tri-Hi-Y President C313 Senior Play 1413 Patrol 131g Color Guard Q41. Julianne is the wee member of the senior class, 5 feet 1 inch to be exact. When the class first met her, eight years ago she was a timid quiet little girl with long black braids and freckles galore, but time marches on! Julie has outgrown her pigtails, her freckles have all but disappeared, and she is no longer the bashful uneasy miss she was then. Yes, Julie's grown upg she just hasn't grown tall! If Julie had a middle name it might be dependability. When she heads a committee, it's certain to function. A commercial student, Julianne hopes to find a secretarial position after gradu- ation. Patricia Ann Shirle January 16, 1935 Pat Color Guard 43,415 Patrol f2,3,41g Leoninus Business Staff C413 Chorus C1,2,3,41g Tri-Hi-Y C315 Senior Play 1. Who's that giggling back there by the lockers? Yes! It's Pat! She loves to have fun and often can be seen with a group of kids, laughing and talking excitedly. Pat has been a member of our class ever since first grade. She loves to sing and is an active chorus member. Pat portrayed her part as Margie well in the Senior Play. A part-time job at the Machine Shop claims much of Pat's spare time. Her future might center about the business world, but we feel that little white bungalow might be important. Paul Rzclzard Shirk August 17, 1934 'fshn-kia Soccer Q2,3,41g Chorus f41g Tennis f2,3,41g Leoninus Business Staff 141g Basketball f3,41. Paul has been a member of our class ever since he entered school as a first grader. This well-liked fellow's main interest is sports. l He has been an all-round athelete receiving letters in soccer, tennis and basket- ball in the last three years. Shirkie has always been a valuable asset to our class, espe- cially with his electrical knowledge. Having done the wiring for both Junior-Senior Reception last year and the Senior Stand this year, he really earned appreciation of his classmates. Paul's future plans are uncertain but we would venture a guess that the electronic industry will enlist him.

fanet Margaret Trimmer August 17, 1934 Trim Chorus 11,2,315 Senior Play 1415 Tri-Hi-Y 1315 Hockey 12,315 Basketball 1315 Tennis 13,415 Yearbook Editorial stair 141. Trim , one of the original members of our class, is an avid sports fan. Her favorite season of the year is summer because she can play tennis or go hiking and camping. She roams through woods and fields taking pictures of outdoor life and scenery. A sincere, straightforward attitude makes Trim a very valuable friend. In the Senior Play these characteristics helped Trim portray the mother. This brown-eyed brunette does not definitely know what she wants to do in the future, but she is considering teaching. Ruth Raymell Tucker March 25, 1933 Raymell Band 11,2,3,415 Cafeteria 11,2,3,415 Chorus 12,3,415 Patrol 1415 Hockey 12,3,415 Basketball 13,415 Cheerlead- mg 13,415 Leoninus Business Staff 141. Raymell came to New Holland from Troy, North Carolina, at the beginning of her sixth year of school. Having taken the home-making course in school, she can prove her ability along that line by sewing many a fine, straight seam. One may see her working as an usher at the local theatre on Saturday evenings. Raymell collects miniature horses as a hobby. At the pres- ent time she has 65 of them, in various sizes and colors. All sports interest her, but she enjoys playing guard in basketball most of all. This tall, dark-haired girl with the winning' personality plans to be a model after graduation. Donald Allen Weaver July 16, 1934 Don Basketball 1115 Glee Club 1115 Class Vice Presi- dent 121. Don became a member of our class in fourth grade, and has been a colorful individual ever since. Often referred to as Spence , he can frequently be seen about town in his trusty '36 Chevy. Don's haircut and continual tardiness in the morning have become Weaver trademarks . Most of his time is spent working at the local cheese plant, although his future will probably be in some branch of the service.
