Harry is one of the out-of-town students who came to us from Salisbury. His interests cover several types of activities. His favorite sport is playing baseball. Harry likes to work around cars and enjoys hunting. Harry works as a store clerk in his spare time. After gradu- ation he will probably continue working in the store. i - Gladys Ruth Hershey i Salisbury: Chorus 11,2,31: Class Secretary 12,31g Yearbook Editor 1313 Class Valedictorian 131. New Hol- land: Leoninus Business Staff 1415 Cafeteria 141. Ruth joined us at the beginning of our senior year from Salisbury High School. Although she is one of the more quiet and reserved members of our class she has won many friends during' the past year. When the weather permits Ruth may be found ice-skating. Reading is also one of her favorite pastimes. As a result of her business training in school, Ruth wishes to make a career of oflice work after graduation. Norma Ann High October 1, 1934 Norma Cheerleading 13,413 Majorette 11,2,3,413 Chorus 11,2,3,41g Patrol 111: Leoninus Editorial Staff 141. This blonde, energetic miss entered our midst in the third grade. Norma is one of the out-of-town students. She has been a majorette in the band for the past six years, and at present, she is the leading twirler. Her various other abili- ties include tumbling, cheerleading, and other sports. Norma's hearty laugh is familiar to many. Her pleasing per- sonality has won her many friends. As her future life's work she has chosen the nursing career. We are sure she is very capable of fulfilling this unselflsh desire to serve humanity. July 5, 1934 Ruth

Goodie , the tiny vivacious brunette of our class, has been a busy member of class since first grade. When not participating in sports, she is cheering the teams on to victory. All treasurer's reports must be in by Friday, Yes, that's Goodie , our efficient school treasurer. As Angie in the Senior Play, she displayed a considerable amount of dramatic talent. Collecting monkeys is her hobby. G0odie boasts a total of 102 monkeys. After graduation Alice plans to enter the business world. Woodrow November 28, 1934 Senior Play? , trumpet and harmonica. When a witty remark pops out of the clear blue sky followed by a shower of laughter, you can be sure Larry had something Larry moved to New Holland from New Cumberland, join- ing his present classmates in the iifth grade. Sports interest Larry very much, football being his favor- ite. He seems to have little time for girls and has a casual inter- At present Larry finds employment at Rubinsons', but the lure of the sea will probably call him to the Merchant Marines. lfwlson Good f r. Woodie Patrol 1115 Chorus 1415 Senior Play 1415 Yearbook Business Staff 1415 County Chorus 141. Woodie is one of the original members of the Class of '52. This active 4 H-er has been on livestock judging teams for the past two years at Penn State. He has taken part in many local activities connected with the 4-H program. Even though this work occupies most of his time, he has taken part in school activi- ties. Who'll ever forget his part as Tony , the wolf, in the Music is one of Woodie's main interests. He plays the piano, Although he has no definite plans, we expect Woodrow to make his mark in agricultural education.

Lee Robert Lalzet April 4, 1935 Lee Kulpmont Band 111. New Holland: Band 12,3,413 Leoninus Editorial Staff 1415 County Band 12,3,41. Lee is our grade's contribution to the musical world. He has well shown his ability by playing solo trumpet for the high school band since his arrival in our sophomore year. Lee can often be found looking through odd pieces of money to add to his coin collection. His love of fun and good humor has made him well-liked by everyone in our grade. Although he has no definite plans for the future, he is certain to be suited to any field of endeavor he chooses. Barbara fane Metford January 22, 1935 Barbie Chorus 12,3,41g Town Clock News 12,3,413 T.C.N. Associate Editor 1413 Band 11,2,3,413 Quill and Scroll 13,413 Student Council 11,2,413 School President 1413 Leoninus Editorial Staff 1413 Senior Play 1413 Cheer- leading 11,2,3,413 Tumbling Club 1213 Hockey 13,41. This vivacious lass, as her activity record indicates, has served her Alma Mater well. She has always been an avid sports fan and faithfully supports the Huskies through soccer, basket- ball, and baseball seasons. Barbie knows how to be the perfect, poised young lady, but she's contributed her share of humor to the class. She certainly added a dash of fun to Seventeenth Summer , as mischievous twelve year old, Kitty . The nursing profession is her chosen career, but prior to entering training, Barb plans to attend Bucknell University for preparatory study. Donald Alois Pahls August 6, 1934 Don Tower City: Band 11,213 Basketball 11,213 Class Vice-President 121. New Holland: Band 13,413 Chorus 13,413 Basketball 13,413 Tennis 13,413 Student Council 1413 Senior Play 141g Leoninus Editorial Staii' 141, County Chorus 1313 County Band 141. . Don is taller and older than his twin, Eugene. He saw the light of day fifteen minutes before his brother. Basketball and tennis interest Don in the sports field. The trumpet holds his musical attention, although he also enjoys singing. , Don , who joined us in our junior year from Tower City, is a very industrious student, but also likes to have a good time. Personality, versatile interests, and the wishes of his many friends, will lead Don to a most prosperous life, which he hopes to make in the engineering field.
