He received his de- gree of B.S. in Education from Ohio State University in 1929 and a Master's Degree in School Administration from Ohio State Uni- versity in 1938. ' Mr. Brown came to New Haven in 1929, where he taught Science and-coached athletics until 1935. He served as local superintendent at New Haven from 1935 to 1940. , A - , , H In 1940 Mr. Brown ,went -to Deshler Local School in Henry County wherelhe served as superintendent until 1949, with eighteen months out of that period while serving as a Lieutenant intheNavy. -V In 1949 Mr. Brown cameto Huron County, as county superintendent, Where he is' doing a very good iob doing all he can to improve the schools of Huron County. Mr. Brown has three daughters. Patrica Lou and lean were bom in Willard. Pat started to school at New Haven and completed the first grade here. lean started school at Deshler. Ruth Ann was bom at Findlay and started school at Deshler. Mrs. Brown, the former Dorothy Dowd of New Havenj graduated from New' Haven H.S. in the year 1924. She attended the Huron Coun- ty Normal School at Norwalk and attended Wittenberg: College several summers complet- ing the requirements for a life elementary teach- ing certificate. She taught first at the Greenwich Rural School and later at New Haven.
