Reflections ... on passing minutes, hours, and days . . . the New Haven campus unfolds into a bustling mass of hu- manity. A student trying to find his own place, do his own thing, emerges from the mob into his own existence that sets him apart from the crowd. Developing a distinct personality is not easy— he must explore, push forward in areas which contribute to his knowledge and uniqueness. Through his creativ- and relations, his ideas become a reality. Contributing to organizations, becoming interested and involved, he cuts his own image. He learns that others are molding and shaping themselves into a a central group ready to accept him and his ideas . . . the complete individualized self.

Senior class retires float trophy Homecoming spirit was sparked by a crackling bonfire. Fans brightly clad in yellow mums jammed the stadium to watch the kick-off between the Bull- dogs and the Concordia Cadets. Amid all the hoots and hollers, it was all the way down the field to a 6-6 deadlock. iles and miles of tissue and crepe paper con- stituted float constructions. For the Class of ' 70, all the long hours and hard work paid off. Winning the float contest for the third consecutive year, entitled the class to retire the float trophy. Rallies and a pep session featuring The Ugliest Thing in the World boosted Bulldog spirit. The marching band and the NJROTC drill team added to the half-time festivities. A new queen ' s reign and a dance to the Atlantis in the girl ' s gym brought an exciting Homecoming to a close.
