Tears bring musical to a close My Fair Lady proved to be much more than a musical. For the cast and crew it entailed many hours of labor and painstaking rehearsals. Yet all the work was worth the final reward of five standing ovations. Mr. Dennis Benson ' s stage crews set a scene of Old England with fabulous sets, lighting and costuming; while Mr. Carl Nicholas ' and Mr. Ron Best ' s music set the pace for the entire show. The production, which played to five audiences, was under the direction of Mr. Milt Sinn. As the curtain closes for the final time, only tears are left along with the memory of five standing ovations. Perhaps the biggest addition to the shorn was the thirty-two piece orchestra directed by Ron Best. Criticisms and suggestions on Eliza ' s progress are gi en to her by Mr. Higgins ' servants. As the curtain closes, such a successful feeling can be felt only among a leading lady and her director.
