Each class learns the fundamentals of good English usage. ENGLISH FORMS OUR A part of each student ' s curriculum is public speaking. We find Sheila Murphy demonstrating her skill. The English department develops our skill of read- ing, writing, and speaking correct English. Literature broadens our knowledge horizons. We learn the ac- cepted forms of grammar in our classes. Through our speech courses we learn to conquer our fear of speak- ing before public groups. We begin our high school English courses with sim- ple compositions; we progress each year until we reach the difficult term papers of our advanced classes.
