Students have an opportunity to express themselves creatively in music and art; both usually encounter God- given talent. Art involves the skill of the hand, eye, and mind. It is the ability of the artist to express on paper what he visualizes and its effect on him. An artist ' s personality can be seen in his work. In music, as in art, a person is enabled to express his feelings. This can be accomplished through verbal actions and the type of music preferred by the person. Mr. Nicholas directs both the choir and the sextet, a group which has been organized for approximately five years. Members of the sextet are Carole Orchard, Linda Culp, Anna Naselari, Judy Sturm, Diann Schnepel, and Anne Haugsrud.
