Health and safety is an important subject for everyone. Mr. Ellenberger and Mr. Lloyd are using this chart to demonstrate one of the body systems. 9? , Lt1 Sftjety Uafees Coordination, physical fitness, and fair play are the main objectives of the physical education department. Students also learn the value of team work and good sportsmanship. Through proper instruction and application, skill may be obtained in many different sports. A few of the sports offered at New Haven High are basketball, football, volley- ball, trampoline, and tumbling. Also, each student is required to participate in body-building exercises. Health and safety is important to each and every person in every walk of life. Many lives could be saved each day if everyone observed our health and safety rules. At New Haven High each student is required to take one year of health and safety. Through this subject we hope to better inform each student of the rules and regulations involving health and safety.
