Through microscopes and other scientific equipment, students can see the wonders of living matter. Students can find most of the answers to their scientific questions in any of the biology, chemistry, or physics lab- oratories. The mechanical drawing section also offers classes in architectural drawing and blue- print reading. Girls enrolled in home economics are preparing them- selves for the years ahead. In the kitchen, girls learn the techniques of meal planning and preparation, nutrition, and proper manners and behavior. Students enrolled in sewing gain experience in pattern design, use of the machine, alterations, and proper color combinations.
