The unloading of buses marks the beginning of another school day. In charge of the New Have 1 clinic is registered nurse, Mrs. Pat Federspiel. School life actually begins at the age of six, but to us here at New Haven High it begins at 8:05 a.m. Each student has five classes a day plus time for lunch. Each class is seventy minutes long, with a five-minute break between classes. There are 45 teachers on the staff to teach 1,168 students. We also have three guidance counselors to help us with college, job, or personal problems. Our school offers the usual subjects and has some of the best-equipped classrooms in the state of Indiana.
