SCIENCE AND MATH Each student throughout his high school life takes some form of science and mathematics. Science includes laboratory work, field trips, the study of matter and energy, and atomic and molecular construction. Biology, Zoology, Botany, Chemistry, and Physics are among the many sciences taught. Mathematics includes algebraic formulas, fractions, radicals, symmetrical figures, and logarithms. General Mathematics, Algebra, Plane Geometry, and Trigonometry are a few of the numerous mathematics courses. Robert Anderson displays his science mas- terpiece — Oscar the Robot. ia Ce ptA tutd po t puda,4, Don Stine is very much engrossed in solving his Physics problem with the help of the slide rule. SOCIAL STUDIES AND BUSINESS With History and Government being required sub- jects, each student is made more appreciative of his nation and increases his knowledge of Federal, state, and local conditions. Psychology and Sociology, also social studies subjects, show one ' s individual and eco- nomic needs. Business courses form a great margin of the elective courses and present the principles of business by means of Business Law, Business Arithmetic, and Bookkeep- ing. Typing and Shorthand pave the way for many in the business world and are used quite extensively as personal skills. Mr. Frock makes use of the map to illustrate the United States during the Civil War.
