SOCIAL STUDIES AND BUSINESS With History and Government being required sub- jects, each student is made more appreciative of his nation and increases his knowledge of Federal, state, and local conditions. Psychology and Sociology, also social studies subjects, show one ' s individual and eco- nomic needs. Business courses form a great margin of the elective courses and present the principles of business by means of Business Law, Business Arithmetic, and Bookkeep- ing. Typing and Shorthand pave the way for many in the business world and are used quite extensively as personal skills. Mr. Frock makes use of the map to illustrate the United States during the Civil War.
