pennants and basketball badges to increase the class finances. A skating party was added to these projects to make it a veiy successful year. Mr. Guthier, have you any further additions to make? 1 would like to relate the fine showing that the Sophomores make at the basketball games. ln the band are Kenneth Hammer and Ronald Ramsey furnishing entertainment to all. Another member of the class Bernon Schlink acts as junior student manager. Those participating in the games are Bolyard, Poeppel, Wright, Stellhorn, Nelson, Miller, Hemsoth, Ehle, Meyer, Krueck, and Vonderau. The class is also honored by having two yell leaders, Harold Parkison and Richard Ichy Rothgeb, who help lead these fighting bulldogs to victory. After hearing this 1 am sure no one can say that the Sophomores are showing a fine representation at the basketball games. Now, friends of the radio audience, it is time to bring our broadcast to a close. Be sure to tune in again next year at this same time and hear how those Sophomore Echos advance further up the ladder of fame. Thanks for listening and so long everybody. To start the ball rolling a weinner bake was held at the home of Clinton Mehring, where the group enjoyed eats and entertainment. They sold school pencils, magazine subscriptions, basketball tickets, and gave several skating parties. During the year the junior Class worked industriously, and also maintained a canteen in the gymnasium during the basketball games, Another event of the year was the class play, His Czark Cousins , a comedy, which proved to be entertainly for the audience.
