Program of Hobby Lobbies For Men Only Student Council Station N. H. H. S.: The Student Council under the capable supervision ot Miss Daniels serves as an intermediary organization between the principal, student body, and faculty. The members consist ot the president and vice president ot the tour class, with Clinton Mehring serving as chairman. At the weekly meetings the council plans all the school activities and assembly programs. On November 12, the Student Council sponsored an Armistice Day program with Charles Hess, a World War veteran, as a main speaker. ln December, the Rev. William Ehrman of the St. lohn's church gave the Christ' mas address. They also sponsored the Snowball Hop on December Zl, which proved to be a great success. On February 6, Salome Hiski from Syria spoke to us through the courtesy ot the Readers Digest. ln April the Student Council is planning to sponsor a Class Project program in which the Social Science, Home Economics, Commercial and Science departments will take part. During the month of May a May Day Dance and a Senior Class Day will be held. Members of the Student Council are: Freshmen-Paul Bearman and Herbert Burgettp Sophomore-Ronald Ramsay and Thomas Wagstattg lunior -Clinton Merhing and Homer Harper: Senior-Richard Putman and Alfred Meyers. The Sunshine Hour lSunshine Societyl Ladies and Gentlemen: I wish to present Marjorie Elson, president ot the Sunshine Society, who will give you a review ot the year's work. Miss Elson . We invite you to spend a tew minutes on the air with the Sunshine Society. This organization under the capable direction ot Miss Harriet Lake and Miss Grace Ainslie, consists ot sixty-eight girls. Throughout the year the girls have been active in distributing clothing to the needy children in the school. ln October we had the largest delegation at the District Convention and our forty-tive members and former members attended the State Con- vention at Rensselaer, April 6th, Our officers of the organization are: President, Marjorie Elsong vice president, Carol Adams: secretary, Betty Larson: treasurer, Atheleen Bande- lierp Publicity chairman, Wanda Putman. Battle of Sexes CSocial Science Clubl Ladies and Gentlemen: The Social Science Club broadcasts on a frequency of two nights a month on Thursday night at 7:30 over station N. H. H. S. This program is sponsored by members of history classes and Miss Marjorie Swihart, instructor. This little club has as its purpose the discussion of social problems of the present clay and a clash of opinion can be heard on every broadcast. Tune in next year tor more interesting programs.
