After various performances given by different High the teachers in their Schools before county session, the New Haven High School in turn displaying her cleverly succeeded in ability as well. Miss Edrie Thomas, a Senior, also a talent- ed member of the Public Speaking Class. gave two very entertaining readings. The first was The Church 'XYith an Overshot XYhee1 g the second, Lasca , by Frank Desprez. Her ease of expression won admiration from all. The orchestra. composed of the follow- ing members: Mr.DeLong,pianog Har- old Daniels, saxophone, Smith Thom- as, violin, Noel Smith, saxophoneg Maurice Rose, violin: XValter Schnit- ker. drums, and Devon Phillips, cor- net, furnished excellent music. The selections played were 4'Blue Bird Land , Bridal Rose toverturep. and Sweet Indiana Home. Hiusir XYhatever the relations of music, it will never cease to be the noblest and purest of arts.
