l K 3 5 I 1 Q, L N v K2 lb Class of Nineteen tlzirty-one: A school, the same as every other going concern. is judged by the calibre of its product. A product is usually the result of converting raw material into a finished, useful article. But a school's product ditters from that of other industries in that it is not wrapped, packed, and sold by the wholesale. The school is dealing with individual units. no two of whom are alike. NVe try to put into our product strength. durability, attractiveness. polish. and withal a pro- duct noted for its outstanding character, individuality, and usefulness. VVe do not advertise our product,-it must sell itself. It must show its ability to grow in use- fulness, more and more as time goes on. It must show its ability to create, serve, love, and worship, it must help to make the VVorld a better place in which to live. Our product is labeled Somebody and not just a common Anybody. All this may sound rather impersonal but it may suggest to you the attractive- ness and possibilities of the years ahead of you and the happy, useful life each may live, and the service he may render if he will. My best wishes go to each of you. CHARLES L. KIRSCIINER, N. H. H. S. '88. 12 I 1 K

E J!!! J . QM To the Class of 1931: After four years of such close association as we have enjoyed together in this school, it is hard to realize that you are so soon to leave us and take up the serious responsible work which lies just ahead of you. With this thought in all our minds at this season of the school year, we pause to give expression to our feelings and I want you to know that my kinclest hopes and wishes go with youg that you may find happiness and cheer in life 3 that you may he diligent in your efforts, faithful in your duties, honest and true in all service which you are privileged to renderg and that you may always bear in mind the loyal interest which your Alma Mater has had and always will have in you. Cordially yours, JANET M. PURDUE. 13
