E 5 5 EE I look up at the clouds all day, QE EE And dream of fairy land. QE EE I see the dancing nymphs that play EE In crystal waters,-on silver sands. I look up at the clouds and see EE A vast relentless ocean. EE Into the depths of eternity EE VV ith a never-ending motion. n I like to watch the clouds go by EE QE They tell so many stories, BE BE And as the birds a-homeward Hy, SE I think of God's great glories. .IEE EE I'm glad I watch the clouds all day, EE BE I solye so many mysteriesg EE EE My fancy leads me far astray, EE EE - To the kingdom of Nature I hold the keys. EE 5 5 gi When I looked at the clouds today, EE 5 I saw a Sphinx, what did it say? QE EE It whispered something, I could not hear,- EE BE Oh, how I wish I had been near. EE EE And so I 'spose all through my life lg I'm going to watch the clouds. QE EE But still I'll always think of them 5-EJ: As rest from care and strife. EE The clouds can always dance with glee, EE EE Or frown upon poor lonesome me, EE EE They portray nature at its best. EE EE W'ith countless virtues they are blest. It has been EE spent in preparing for our future life. Sleep. study, play, and work have all g 5? entered into this preparation. Wie now start upon another period of our life.- QE HE manhood and womanhood. Has all the training of our youth been in vain? For EE isn't it true that we cannot judge the success of our future life by the successes of EE ' the past? For years, ever since we were little children. we have dreamedg built HE air-castles: seen them fallg and built them again. Now we are going out to see those air-castles materialize and to help others to make theirs come true. QE They don't come. over night nor do they come in two or three days. XY e have to QE EE build them stone by stone, hour by hour, and day by day. Vie cannot build them gg EQ with cheap and gaudy remnants of past hopes, but we must put into that labor the EEE EE best we have, the best we own. because, Whatsocver a man soweth, that also shall QE EE he reap. NVe are not going to obtain the best results if we do not use the gg SE best materials. ?E If we think of the teachings of Commercial High,-ii we remember - gg EE her motto.- Promptness. Neatness, and Accuracy. -if we have the spirit and QE EE strength to overcome all obstacles, then. we will be worthy of the school that has ' gg graduated us, the teachers, who have labored with us, and our parents and relatives.
