New HAVEN HIGH Scnoor. C'Lixss Book 13 On February 5, Kappa Mu Sigma gave a private dance, which was a pronounced success. This was followed by the Phi Sigma tea given on February 12, at which those present had a brilliant time. Turning to 'athletics, we find that the Senior class won the class basketball championship under the able leadership of Mr, Levy. On February 21, our track team journeyed to Hartford to compete in the Naval Reserve meet against Springfield, Hart- ford and Holyoke. Although we did not capture Hrst place, we came in a very good second, having scored seven points to each of Hartfordls and H0lyoke's fone. As we are approaching Easter and the spring vacation. the chief topics of interest are the Declamation Cpntest and the Class Prom. The Declamation Contest eclipsed the one given in 1908. The Class Prom. took place XVednesday, April 20, find we Seniors made it a pronounced success. if success is the rewarcl of hard work. An-d now, with but a few weeks of work are on the last stretch of the race. The history of the Class of 1910 is finished. Page after page. it is a story of flawless class work. Vtle have worshipped the Shrine of Knowledge and she has rewarded us with the victorious olive crown of success. We shall soon leave this old school to seek wider experiences, but we shall never forsake the memories of this glorious institution. Year after year shall pass, but her foundations shall remain true. Year after year shall pass, but flet us never forget the classmates with whom we worked side by side for four short years. And when we journey into the world to seek wider experiences, let us always remember the ideal we first formed, Quod Facis, Bene Facf! and success shall al- ways crown the achievements of the Glorious Class of 1910.
