This year's May Court is superlative in every more attendants, Betty Key and 'Io Ellen Crabtree, way. The girls are not only selected for beauty, are both blondes - the only blondes in the court. but for well-rounded personalities as well. Almost Jo Ifllen is one of the newly chosen sophomore every form of student life is represented through Social Marshals, while Betty serves as a majorette the activities and services of these girls. f7Ae airesf . . . The queen of the May is a new- comer in the court this year. Her lovely brown eyes are among her many assets, and her sweet smile is accentuated by adorable dimples. She is well-known around school by her many activities. She was chosen Battalion Sponsor of the R.U.T.C.. Varsity Sweetheart, So- cial Marshal, Best Looking in the senior class. As assistant head cheer- leader, she lends a certain sparkle to the varsity games. New Hanover High School is well-represented by its queen and hopes her reign will be a memorable one. of fAe air... Sally Christmas, a dark-haired beauty, was chosen Maid of Honor. Sally's neatness, wholesome good looks, and personality make her an asset to any group. Among her many activities, she has served as a Alunior Class Senator, Senior Class Senator, Member of the House of Representatives, and W'i.lilnIf Stail' member. She. too. is a newcomer to the May Court this year and is com- pleting her high school career with a very high honor.

Martha Lee Begor, a newcomer to the court, and Rose Potter, a former attendant, represent the Junior Class. Martha Lee is an active member of the 1'Idl1Ull'!'.-Llll Staff and Rose has served as a Senator. The Hardy twins, Jane and jean, are back in the May Court for their third year. They head the F.B.I..A., one of N.H.H.S.'s most sue- cessful clubs.
